The Indian iconic auto brand, Tata Motors has planed to enter the luxury sedan car segment with launch of newly developed luxury sedan Tata Prima. The company has displayed the all new Tata Prima concept at the 79th Geneva Motor Show in year 2009. And again the company will also display this new luxury sedan at the New Delhi Auto Expo 2012 in January. But the company is expected to launch the all new Tata Prima in the Indian auto market by the mid of year 2012 in competitive price range.
At the New Delhi Auto Expo the company is not expected to display the all new Tata Prima price. With the new Tata Prima features and specifications will also be disclosed at its official launch. As per expectations it is expected to be available in the price bracket of Rs. 12 lakh to Rs. 14 lakh at ex-showroom. Tata Prima has been developed at the R&D center of Jaguar which is British subsidiary of Tata Motors. And first of all the new Tata luxury sedan will be launched in the European market and after the Indian buyers will test its flavour.
